Daev (Rachel) Knieff, Massage Therapist

Rachel Knieff, who goes by Daev, is a board certified massage therapist (BCTMB) and certified neuromuscular therapist. Daev graduated from North Western Health and Sciences University 2015, with her associate’s degree in massage therapy.

Daev has been a practicing massage therapist for 10 years, dividing her time between private practice and chiropractic settings. During this time Daev continues to take additional training while being actively mentored by Rachel Romanelli.

Her modalities include  Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, myofacial release, lymphatic drainage and orthopedic cupping.  This broad range of styles makes her well equipped to provide customized care to her patients.

The clients Daev most enjoys working with are those with complex issues. Every client has their own special set of circumstances that motivates them to seek massage. It may be posture, illness, injury, surgery,  chronic pain or simply aging well. Most often it is a combination.

Daev’s philosophy is simple.  “The body is designed to adapt.  Adaptation can lead to dysfunction, causing pain and the release of stress hormones.  My mission is to help the individual regain balance and well-being.”
