Pay Rate:
Evaluated upon experience: $35-$70
Massage Therapist Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited school or holds a current National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
**Consideration for a massage therapist application, that has applied for the National Certification exam, though would not officially hire until exam is passed
Professional Liability Insurance: liability insurance companies preferred but not required either, AMTA or ABMP
Preferred but not required:
1-3 years’ experience
Education in pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular therapy or additional advanced techniques
Massage Therapists must be able to:
Maintain good communication skills
Reliable, on time, work independently as needed
Provide 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute massage therapy appointments
Rescheduling and booking follow up sessions as needed
Accept payments as needed, record payments
Prepare room
Light laundry of sheets and blankets
SOAP notes maintained in electronic patient records
