Practitioner and Client Rights and Responsibilities

In addition to our current Practitioner and Client Rights and Responsibilities, during this time of novel coronavirus (or COVID-19), our establishment has adopted the following Practitioner and Client Rights and Responsibilities to ensure the highest level of safety provided with guidance.

Practitioner Rights and Responsibilities

Professionalism. Your practitioner is committed to providing the highest quality of care and will provide only those services for which trained.

Equal Treatment. Your practitioner is committed to honoring the dignity and worth of each individual.

Symptom Screener. Your practitioner affirms that to the best of their knowledge they are symptom free.

Symptom Reporting. If the practitioner has been exposed to COVID, or begins to experience symptoms of COVID, the practitioner will immediately cease massage therapy practice and self-quarantine to current CDC standards.

Appointment Setting and Safe Social Distancing

The establishment adheres to  social distancing in the lobby. Thirty minutes is scheduled between each patient session to allow time to sanitize the massage room, including changing linens.

Practitioner and Client PPE

Practitioner: Your Practitioner will wear a mask at all times during treatment. They may also wear a gown and gloves.

Clients: Clients will wear a mask during the treatment session.

PPE: PPE including masks, tissues, paper towels and hand sanitizer will be made available at our establishment.

Establishment Sanitary Practices

Cleaning: Cleaning of all high-touch surfaces, including but not limited to, tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, lotion/oil bottles. Reference CDC guidelines.

Cleaning products. Are in adherence to EPA-approved class N.

Laundry: After each massage session all laundry that was used, including sheets, face cradle covers, pillow cases and blankets are removed and placed in a closed-lid laundry basket or laundry bag.

Laundry may be sent to a linen supply service or laundered on premise. If laundered on premise, our establishment uses approved cleaning products and hot water.

Clients Rights and Responsibilities

Health Information: Clients are responsible for communicating health status. Clients will be asked to complete a health intake and will communicate any health issues that may impact the ability to receive services. Clients will also complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire before each appointment.

Clients attest to the following before appointment:

At time of appointment they have an absence of the following symptoms, which may indicate contraction of COVID-19:
Fever of 99 degrees or above
Fatigue
Dry cough
Difficulty breathing

Reporting

Clients agree that if they experience any symptoms, or are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 30 days of massage treatment, they will report this to the massage establishment.
